The 6 main characters from The Outer Banks on Netflix includes; Sarah Cameron, John B Routledge, JJ Maybank, Kiara (Kie) Carrera, Pope Heyward, and Cleo. I'm going to give some background information on these characters. Starting off with the thee main character, John B. John B is a Pogue living by himself on the banks of Ashely river in Charleston. John B doesn't know much of his Mom, only that she left after he was born, and the mystery that started it all, where was his dad? John B is 16, and throughout the seasons he gets a girlfriend, Sarah Cameron and even “marries” her. Now along to Sarah. Sarah is a kook living in a mansion on Lowndes Grove. Sarah later becomes a Pouge and joins the adventure to help find John B’s dad and the long lost gold and other treasures which leads to a long journey. Now JJ. The crazy fearless boy is a Pouge, with his house evicted and his dad a drug addict he just runs around with John B and the rest of the group.
Pope, the goodie good of the group is an all A student just wanting to get into a good college. He helps his pops with work on shore but gets caught up with John B's shenanigans. The complete opposite Cleo, a clever, street smart, former boater joins the adventure in the end of season 2 and ends up joining the pouges for their next adventures. Kiara also known as Kie is Pogue at heart even though her family are Kooks by blood. Kie doesn't care what her mom and dad think, she is willing to do whatever it takes to be a Pouge and help her friends.
